Logo and Branding

Conclusion Questions:

1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create your logo in Adobe illustrator. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools, processes, and keyboard commands as possible.
First, I would "Sketch" a design out so that I have an idea of what design I wanted. Then take a picture of my favorite sketch airdrop or email it to yourself. Open up Adobe Illustrator, create a new file, letter, name it your name, and then create. Next, go to file, place, look for your photo, and turn on the temple. I went ahead and "Lock Layer". I use the "Pen Tool" to outline my initials. Also, to make the lines and leaves, I turned the stroke one and the fill off. I click on the initials to change the color to a gradient, in a purple color. I went to google to look up butterfly silhouettes and also flowers. Then made a big circle to put behind my design. Last, I went to google classroom to download the cut color, then went to my design and made another circle but turned fine off and stroke it on. Also went to swatches, library book icons, and another library, and located cut color Ai in my download folder. Clicked on the circle with the stroke on and changed the stroke to the hot pink I downloaded for the "Cut Line". Finally, I save it as a pdf so that it can be cut out.

2. What is a cut line? Why is it important to add when making stickers?
It is a cut that tells where to cut. It is important to add because if you don't then your design would be messed up. Also so it would easier for the machine to cut.

3. What is branding? How can you use it for marketing yourself when looking for a job?
It is a name, design, or symbol that represents you or what it's about. I can use it by showing people and talking about what I do. So they get a good understanding about my job.

4. Based on the learning target, what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, Minimal Understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.
My level of mastery is understanding because I got a good understanding of what to do and how to work on what I needed to do to get my work done. Also need to work on what the tools are for and how to make more stickers with different using.
